provides the following clinical laboratory services:
Andrology Testing:
- Semen Analysis – Initial male
workup that includes sperm count and motility (movement)
- Antisperm Antibody Testing – Testing
to see if either partner is producing antibody to sperm,
which would adversely affect sperm motility.
- Sperm Washing for Intrauterine Insemination – Preparation
that filters and concentrates highly motile sperm.
Endocrinology Testing
- Day 3 and Day 10 (Estradiol, FSH, LH)
- Estradiol, LH for ovulation monitoring
- Progesterone
- TSH
- Free Thyroxine
- Prolactin
- Quantitative HCG
Communicable Disease Testing
FDA-required testing that can include some
or all of the following tests:
- HIV ½
- Hepatitis C
- Hepatitis B (surface antigen and core antibody)
- RPR for syphilis
- HTLV I/II
- CMV
- GC/Chlamydia
